This year we are excited to be taking part in Crystal Palace Artist Open House as an artist venue for our very own bar man (and web designer) Laurence!
Asides from having an encylopedic knowldege of our delicous range of craft beers and gins, Laurence is a talented block print artist working with lino and oil based ink from his Crystal Palace home studio.
As he is a little off the beaten paths of Palace’s Triangle we’ve stepped in to help him showcase his amazing prints.
The Crystal Palace Artist Open House Will be taking place on the last week (27th//28th) of September and the first weekend (4th/5th) of October.
Its an amazing event showcasing the works and creative spaces of our bustling creative community so please come out and support our amazing local artists!
And when your weary feet are done for the day come and sample some of our delcious craft beer and Antenna Gin!
Laurence has been working witht he mediium of lino printing for 6 years now. His pieces take inspiration from architecture and urban scene.
In the run up to Crystal Palace Open house Laurence has just finished a serice of Crystal Palace mini prints inspired by a recent print exchange on the theme of ‘focus’. Laurence has been capturing quite moments from our very own Palace inspired by scenes inspired by his walks around the park.
He’ll be showcasing this new series as well as many of his other previous prints and projects, so make sure to come through and check them out!
